Most farmers or workers in our programs are with families. These businesses are necessary to provide family members to be closer to parents or to learn a new skill close to home instead of drifting into crowded cities. They also designed to train our own staff, maximize opportunity, exposure. cash-flow. If these extra businesses expands, they will support new jobs to local economy. Additionally, these businesses are do not cost us much to add, can utilize existing staff and existing facility and/or conveniences.

This product line correctly meet the necessity and philosophy of our operations: To make money to support Vietnam and our farmers but also to generate other multilateral benefits to other plans: Increase pollination for crops, support farmers' family members so their loved ones are together, interact and catalyze to create new products from cosmetics to food and drink ingredients, etc. However to protect the health and the long term image of the nation, again, we must be able to show the world that we are a progressive group of people and know how to grow products without the need to add bio agents to induce growth chemically like China. We can produce them scientifically and healthily. We plan to create at least 1 bee farm for every 100 Ha of farm site; each bee farm will raise at least 100 hives (1 Hive per Ha); This quantity to increase to 100 to 200 farms in 3 years to supply honey and other by-products.

How do we finance these projects?

We will seek to develop one of these following method (1) Investment bonds or shares from our own staff, farmers or industrial workers; (2) Start-up funds from international sources; (3) Joint venture funds from fertilizer/insecticide suppliers; (4) Investment from local government leaders as partners so they can help us; (5) Managers are recruited, trained from older farmers and provided with a share of profit.

Can we create these retailers at low cost to Vietnamese users?

Technically it is not difficult for us to devise an organization and process as we already have to products to sell (1) Must be able to import certain supplies at low tax/duties or duty free like other countries in exchange for a direct deposit of sales tax to province; (2) We can negotiate special purchasing plans with suppliers; (3) Creative financing and support by the government to vendors (4) Knowing how to design other support products and profit to lower the break-even point thereby can lower the selling cost when necessary (5) With some funding assistance from outside sources.

Unlike many people think, retail outlets can be developed profitably if we know how to and already have to supply sources. Experience in agriculture is excellent for us to develop other much needed products for commercial uses not only to help our own farmers in cash-flow but also as a location for their socialization, purchases of urgent needs and selling other items for extra money. We can expand these outlets as they can greatly generate profits to support education schools within our organization and also to support local schools so people will pay less or can go to school free.

With our on-going world-wide contacts, with our import-export operation systems and working representatives at key locations overseas, it is an excellent that we put this system to work to support other exporters in Vietnam to expand their products or market. The development of By-Products are essential for every agricultural crop under planning. They play important role in strengthening that product line as well as the entire agricultural system of the country when successfully done. But if not correctly done, it becomes a damage to the organization therefore we will not allow such plan to be carried out if not well designed. We also need to look at other By-products outside of our operations especially those By-Products that can contribute to the easing the damages on the environment such as the trash or illegal dumping problems. If such profitability and feasibility is high, it will help us to support other By-Product Plans.

Sub-group 4-A: AGRICULTURAL BY-PRODUCTS

We must develop at least 1 set of by-products in each of the edible group of crops we grow except ornamental, tree and similars. These are not new and well-known in the market and in Vietnam but we must do them to meet international standards from preparation, finished products to packaging and labeling. These designs are done by Product Design and Engineering Team of VINAREX. Each project is planned based on its schedule and progress. By-products will be concentrated on supplying the food processing industries both domestic and international on pre-set agreements. Compared to by-products made in China, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and even the Philippines, Vietnam-made agricultural by-products are with BETTER TASTES and VARIABLES but unfortunately not well perceived or even trusted in the West. There are valid bases as well as misleading information from competitors in other countries. However we need to take a closer look at what are not done correctly and prepare a well-designed program to assist, improve our products especially in the preparation sanitation, processing in bacteria-free environment, storage and delivery to packaging problems.
